try only coding on nbt, and it should be enough for this one. if you are trying retrofit nbt on an car older than 07.2012 it is possible needed to change zgw and other modules.

We answered your email.
Please read the error clearly, and check in your photos that this NBT needs 181 hours.
Usually flashing NBT will be done by factory (size of data about 4.5 GB), and only update by OBD II.
What you try here is flashing NBT which is NOT COMPATIBLE, Autohex will try to make it compatible, but this requires FULL FLASH (big size).
As we mentioned in our email, we can remove this restriction for you if you accept to wait 181 hours of flashing.

Tibibond, This is not a retrofit.

decno1,

Thanks for your mail.
How to change the VIN Number? 181 hour is very long time.(Not reasonable time)
That means autohex does not using the NBT ECU Flashing. Right?
Normally. ESYS NBT ECU Flashing is only 30min ~ 50min

Tibibond is correct, 90% coding is enough to solve your problem.

Please understand the following (I mentioned before, and I will mention it again):
NBT supposed NOT to have FULL flash if it is COMPATIBLE with the car. it supposed to ONLY be updated.
In your case, you are using UNCOMPATIBLE NBT, Autohex shows you as you show in the photo (NOT COMPATIBLE, POSSIBLE....)
Autohex will try to make FULL flash replacement, this flash size is about 4.5GB, by obd II this will require 181 hours
You said ESYS can do it in 45 minutes, why you don't use it? We know why you don't use it, because it will refuse to flash such case.
Finally, just to let you understand how big is 4.5 GB in flashing world:
DME Flashing requires 15-20 minutes, the flash size is only 4MB max.

Because we need vin match.

You still insist to not follow our guide lines:
Your problem is as shown in the photo you posted, NBT is NOT COMPATIBLE.
We answered you by email, we can remove this restriction if you are ready to keep Autohex flashing NBT for 181, we had one user in USA same your case, he waited about 8-9 days, eventually his NBT worked 100% ok, please understand the report too: possible flushable.
VIN is not your problem, your problem is the FLASH is different of what it supposed to be for this model and this car configuration.

I have done some resonable amount of coding on f series and very much on e series. Coding is very different on these two. When you encode on f series the vin is automaticaly changed. For the e series you need to flash to change the vin entirely. I can tell you from experience that even if you flash a Cic unit with ista P on e series the vin won t change, and the unit will still not have voice control, internet and navigation activated. So even if you flash the nbt in 181hrs and the vin will change, you will still have to buy fsc codes to activate navi voice and internet.

Your answer is 100% correct. NBT/CIC requires also FSC activation after successful flashing and coding.

Please send us a request email, we will join your laptop by team viewer and we will remove the time restriction.
You must prepare a charger for laptop, and a good booster for the car.
