Hi I tried to make a new key in the slot on 2005 e87 and now the car will not start even with the origional key. It was working fine before I started I was only making a spare key. I have a fault in dme ews line fault 2f45. The car cranks but won't start. I have tried disconnecting the battery for 30min and I left the car over night to sleep and the fault is still there . I also tried cas-dme sync it failed because of communication between cas and dme. There are no faults stored in cas. Can anyone help me out here
Thanks

I fixed it, I read isn from dme and wrote it to cas, then carried out cas-dme alignment. And car started .

Glad that you solve it.
Always use Key learning Button 3 and 4 for key learning for remote keys.
Use button 2 for transponders only.
If you want to use remote keys, you must have HTag Pro key programmer.
