Hi im having a few problems with my bmw 1 series chugging not lights are on,on the dash but the garage said it has come up with fault code p2a83 does any one know what tihs means as the garage is baffled Confused

No one will be able to tell you the correct answer for BMW fault code by this way
BMW used different descriptions for a single fault number based on:
-Ecu
-Identifier of the ECU
so we must know the DIAG ID of this ECU, then we can search in our database to tell you the exact meaning.
more simple way, use Autohex which is 100% guaranteed to extract the correct meaning of fault code.
