INTAKE SHUTTER VALVE (ISV) POSITION SENSOR A CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

Possible failuer P0120

• Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Position Sensor A failure
• Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Position Sensor A CAN line (short to ground, open, short to power)
• Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Position Sensor A Power line open
• Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Position Sensor A Ground line open
• Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Actuator Control Module internal failure

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• The output voltage of the Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Position Sensor A is detected less than a specified value or more than a specified value for a set period of time.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• Continuously

• The output voltage of the Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Position Sensor A is detected less than a specified value or more than a specified value for a set period of time.
