EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) VALVE CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND

Possible failuer P0489

• EGR Actuator
• EGR Actuator harness (Short to ground)

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• During the inactive drive circuit, the short to ground of the drive line that minute current can be drawn off by another diagnostic circuit is detected for a set period of time.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• Continuously
