Description of Fault code P108F

FUEL RAIL PRESSURE (FRP) SENSOR OUTPUT HIGH VOLTAGE AFTER IGNITION OFF

Possible failuer P108F

  • FRP sensor malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II

  • ECM monitors Fuel Rail Pressure after IG OFF and High voltage beyond predetermined value is detected during 100msec.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

  • IG OFF (0) during 10seconds after IG ON (II).
  • Engine not running.

Clear Fault codes Conditions

  • ECM monitors Fuel Rail Pressure after IG OFF and High voltage beyond predetermined value is detected during 100msec.

MIL Status

  • Check Engine Light ON
