OBD II Fault Code P1237 :

Description of Fault code P1237

BOOST PRESSURE LOWER THAN EXPECTED

Possible failuer P1237

  • Turbo body stuck (Open side stuck)
  • Turbo Charger Boost Control Solenoid negative pressure hose off
  • Turbo Charger Boost Control Solenoid open side stuck
  • Air cleaner taint, damage (Blockage)
  • Turbo compressor : tube off in Intake Manifold

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

  • When minute current is drawn on the inactive drive circuit, the open which can't be drawn the current is detected for a set period of time.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

  • Continuously

Clear Fault codes Conditions

  • When minute current is drawn on the inactive drive circuit, the open which can't be drawn the current is detected for a set period of time.

MIL Status

  • Check Engine Light ON
