OBD II Fault Code P1903 :

Description of Fault code P1903

ATFP V-phase LINE CIRCUIT HIGH

Possible failuer P1903

  • ATFP V-phase LINE CIRCUIT is open.
  • ATFP Motor Malfunction
  • ATFP Control unit malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

  • The ATFP Control unit monitors V-phase the current when the ATFP Motor is running.
  • A malfunction is detected when no current in the V-phase for at least 5 seconds.
  • The ATFP driver monitors and detects the malfunction. If the ATFP driver detects a malfunction, it will send the failure information to the PCM.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

  • Shift lever position is D
  • Warm up the engine, drive in D range, stop the vehicle ,and go into idle stop.

Clear Fault codes Conditions

  • The ATFP Control unit monitors V-phase the current when the ATFP Motor is running.
  • A malfunction is detected when no current in the V-phase for at least 5 seconds.
  • The ATFP driver monitors and detects the malfunction. If the ATFP driver detects a malfunction, it will send the failure information to the PCM.

MIL Status

  • America/Canada Spec OFF
