DME/DDE CAS :
The engine control unit (DME/DDE) only enables engine start if a correct enable signal is received from the CAS control unit. The control unit is only allocated during initial programming of the DME/DDE control unit. The engine control then adopts the basic code of CAS control unit.
Perform DME/DDE CAS adjustment if codes in both control units deviate from each other.

By this service we can reset both codes to the initial value.
Procedure:
1) Switch ignition on and engine off as precondition.
2) Select proper function which you want to perform.(Fig.1)
- Programming of start value for new DME only.(Possible only once for new DME only)
- Start value Matching (reset)
3) First DME/DDE start value gets adjusted.
4) For new DME programming new start value get stored .In RESET only start value matching is performed, New value cannot be stored.
5)

If any fault or problem occurred program will notify and guides through proper error message.(Fig.2)
6) After the successful completion of service:
- Terminal 15 off.
- Wait until main relay has dropped out.
- Terminal 15 on.
- Engine can be started again.
7) If the engine will not start this indicates the CAS is not receiving the engine speed signal.
Continue troubleshooting with CAS control unit.
