OBD II Fault Code P1901 :

Description of Fault code P1901

ATFP-RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW

Possible failuer P1901

  • ATFP Relay Failure OFF
  • The Power Supply line to ATFP is Open
  • ATFP Relay Circuit Open
  • ATFP driver malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

  • A malfunction is detected when the voltage doesn't increase with a ON command.
  • ATFP driver monitors and detects a malfunction. If the ATFP driver detects a malfunction, it will send the result to the PCM.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

  • Start the engine, wait 10 seconds.

Clear Fault codes Conditions

  • A malfunction is detected when the voltage doesn't increase with a ON command.
  • ATFP driver monitors and detects a malfunction. If the ATFP driver detects a malfunction, it will send the result to the PCM.

MIL Status

  • America/Canada Spec OFF
